This
Electronic Library is a compilation of resources taken from the Internet,
NGO's, national curriculums, United Nations agencies and individuals working
to educate youth about HIV/AIDS. There exists a wealth of information on
HIV/AIDS today and it is the hope of this project that the selected information
is relevant to Africa. This
Electronic Library is intended for use by teachers, teacher trainers, curriculum
developers, policy makers, and all of those people involved in the teaching
and training of teachers and those who work with children in the fight against
HIV/AIDS.
To use the Electronic Library it is necessary to "Download Acrobat Reader" if your computer does not already have the program. Acrobat Reader is simply a program which allows "PDF" files to be clearly displayed on your computer screen. You may download this program from the home page of this series. Once you download Acrobat Reader your computer will add it to it's program files and you will be able to open all PDF files in the future. It is necessary to "browse" through all of the information in this Electronic Library in order to understand the scope of the materials available. It is recommended that you take some time to look around the Electronic Library in order to become familiar with how it is arranged. All of the materials can be printed out and distributed throughout your university, organization, and/or training institute free of charge, given that the proper acknowledgments are in place. |
